What is a YLC Regional
Network?
A YLC Regional
Network is a select group of youth leaders
and/or youth pastors in a specific geographic area
who receive in-person, customized coaching from the
YLC in an individual fashion and on a monthly or
quarterly basis.
What happens in these coaching
visits?
The YLC’s
bulls-eye target is the smaller church and the
volunteer youth leader. And we have found that few
things mean more to a volunteer youth leader than a
person – someone willing to partner with them
consistently, coaching and mentoring them towards a
biblically effective youth ministry. How the monthly
visit is used is up to the partnering youth
leader/pastor -- as a training forum for leaders, a
teaching time for students, a brainstorming session
between the youth leader(s) and the YLC, or as a
platform for a YLC seminar/event. Essentially, the
monthly network encounter is tailored to help meet
the personal and corporate needs of the leader.
If there’s not one in my area,
can I create one?
Yes! Simply contact the YLC first to discuss your
interest. Then the YLC and you will work together in
contacting other interested youth leaders in your
area, starting with your initial suggestions and
contacts.
What is expected from the
participating church?
The
YLC is a faith-based organization, so we do not
charge fees. We do ask, however, that each
participating church contribute a love offering per
network visit/meeting. In a typical quarterly
network, this would mean an average church would
simply be responsible for a donation of about
$100-150 each quarter.
